Saturday saw drama on the final day of the regular season. Going into the game the #1STXI sat in second place knowing that they needed to win against Eaton Socon to give themselves a chance of being crowned Whiting League Div 1 champions! 

Losing the toss and bowling first we bundled Socon out for 86. R. Singh picking up superb figures of 4-11 from 9.3 overs, we’ll supported by R. Devendran who took 3-27 off his 10. 

In reply, we chased the total down for the loss of 4 wickets in the 20th over. L. Hindle top scoring with 25.

Following the game, the team nervously watched on as March defeated Wisbech, meaning we are crowned Division 1 champions in our first season as new club!
