Foxton progressed to the Area Final of this trophy with a comprehensive 91 run win over Worboys. Put in to bat by their visitors their openers Cei Sanderson (22) and captain Gareth Roots made good progress in a first wicket partnership of 70. A third wicket stand of 97 by Chris Pepper (59 n.o.) and Roots 75 enabled Foxton to set a stiff target of 208-5 from their 40 overs. The Worboys top bowler was Sam Latchford with 2-38 from his permitted nine overs.
 Worboys began steadily in their reply but with the total on 33 Nick McLellan took a sharp caught and bowled chance to dismiss Adam Grange for 16. Wickets then began to fall at regular intervals and despite several of their batsmen getting starts none would go on to make any substantial contributions. Tight bowling by the hosts from Pepper 3-4 from five overs and Max Bowen 3-19 from 4.5 overs together with two scalps for Adam Webster restricted Worboys to an all out total of 117 from 31.5 overs.
Foxton will visit Fordham in the Area Final on Sunday, June 16th.
