Both sides fell to league defeats on Saturday at the hands of Eaton Socon. The 1's came up short in pursuit of Socon's 252 all out while the 2's were unable to defend 202 at home, going down by 7 wickets. Particular mention to Don Whyte who picked up his first league wickets in the UK, taking 3-60 for the first team.

On Sunday the National Village Cup team ran out convincing winners over Hethersett & Tas Valley CC from Norfolk, progressing to the regional final. Batting first, in a rain affected innings Foxton stuttered to 154-6 before Hayden Brown and Ravi Mahendra put on an unbeaten stand of 86 taking the total to 240-6. Both Steve Smith and Tim O'Connell went on to pick up 3 wickets a-piece in the second innings as Hethersett were bowled out for 141.

Next weekend the 1st team host March Town CC and the 2nd team travel to Bharat Sports in Alconbury
