After receiving a bye in the first round, the 1st team enjoyed victory by 2 wickets vs Eaton Socon on Sunday 8th May.

Bowling first Foxton Granta restricted Socon to 149-9 from their 40 overs, with wickets shared between the bowlers. In reply the Foxes innings was held together by Johnny Atkinson batting at number 4 who anchored the chase with 38 not out. Despite wickets falling around him, Johnny guided the team home in the penultimate over, winning the game with a towering maximum over long on.

On Sunday 22nd May, we now host Overstrand CC from Norfolk in the next round.
