La Manga Tour
In April, sixteen Foxes jetted off to Spain for the La Manga T20 Classic. It was a fantastic trip both on and off the pitch - though some may have enjoyed the "off-pitch" activities more than others!
The team put in some excellent performances against opposition from Surrey, Galway, and La Manga, finishing the group stage with two wins and a loss. While we qualified for the final, unseasonal Spanish rain unfortunately had the last word, washing out the match before a ball was bowled. As a result, we took home the runners-up trophy based on our earlier group-stage result.
Junior Section
Our summer term programme for our Junior Foxes recently got underway under the watchful eye of Head Coach Jason Coleman. He is joined each week by our two overseas players, Jonty and Spencer from Australia.
We are always keen to grow our junior section, with summer cricket available for ages 5–16. Our aim remains the same: to help young cricketers start, or continue, their development and ultimately transition into senior cricket.
This year, we have teams entered into the CCA leagues and U10 and U11 and will be organising friendly matches for the other groups over the course of the season. Training sessions are held weekly at Foxton Rec from 5.15-6.30pm.

Senior Section
The 1st XI will look to carry momentum from their Village Cup success into the new season, targeting a stronger league performance and challenging for honours in the Onyx Cricket Cambs & Hunts Premier Division 1. Meanwhile, the 2nd and 3rd XIs will also aim for competitive campaigns in Premier Division 3 and the CCA Junior League respectively. Our successful midweek side are soon to begin their Division 1 season under the new leadership pairing of Harry Hopwood and Sam Beer.
We have several new faces who have joined the club, and we wish them all the best in their time with The Foxes!
